Corey Wilhelm is a proud 2014 graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the Grainger Center. He and his wife live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with their dog, and recently moved back to the Midwest from Dallas, TX where they spent three years.
Corey currently works with Land O’ Lakes’ agricultural division, Winfield United, as a Procurement Manager for crop protection products. In his current role, Corey is responsible for managing global supplier relationships, securing supply, and negotiating pricing and terms for nearly $1 billion of finished goods and raw materials. He finds procurement provides a great balance of analytical thinking and inter-personal relationships, and enjoys the cross-functional emphasis associated with the role.
Prior to his role at Land O’ Lakes, Corey managed global procurement for American Airlines’ food and beverage program where his favorite projects included launching free main-cabin snacks, and adding an IPA to the airline’s beer menu. This role allowed Corey to learn the fundamentals of procurement, while providing great travel perks and more pretzels one could possibly care to eat!
Corey has a passion for finding data-driven, outside-the-box solutions. He loves building relationships, finding efficiencies, campfires, and of course, Jumping Around. GOOO Badgers!
