Mark Dyer, Director of Supply Chain Operations and Global Planning at Cisco leads the teams charged with executing the quarterly shipment revenue commitment process, setting inventory buffer guardrails across all hardware products, and driving digital transformation across the planning organization.
Mark joined Cisco in 2010 and has held a number of different roles inside the supply chain organization, including Sales and Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning, and Order Scheduling/Management. Mark spent 4 years leading the Scheduling and Backlog Management team where he helped land the accurate execution of the company’s quarterly shipment target while also forcing a shift towards a more customer-centric metrics approach throughout the order lifecycle, generating improved delivery performance and customer Net Promoter Scores.
Prior to joining Cisco, Mark worked in consulting at IBM where he focused on large scale software implementations. He holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, specializing in Supply Chain, and a BS from The Ohio State University in Transportation and Logistics. Mark lives in San Jose, CA where he enjoys cycling, trail running, and cooking, as well as spending time with his wife Jordan (also a UW-Madison alumna) and their son James.
