Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch Program

The Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship offers the Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch program where local experts on entrepreneurship tell their unique stories and share their expertise and knowledge. This casual, fun and informal environment provides an opportunity to get advice and ask questions. The sessions occur over the lunch hour on Wednesdays during the fall and spring semesters from 12:15-1:00 p.m. Each semester schedule will be listed below with a Qualtrics link to RSVP. Please consider joining us for all or some of their sessions.

Discovery to Product's Virtual Open House

Learn about free trainings and mentoring for campus innovators

Do you have a creative solution that has the potential for commercial and/or social impact? Come to Discovery to Product’s Virtual Open House event to get an overview of free trainings, mentoring, and support for faculty, staff, and student innovators. Held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month with mid-day and early evening start times to accommodate a variety of schedules.  Connection information will be sent to registrants in advance.

Application deadline for Innovation to Market (I2M)

I2M is an entry point for innovators, seekers of creative solutions, designers of novel approaches to social problems or makers of impactful products. This nine-week online course focuses on customer discovery for your proposed product or service. Free and open to UW–Madison faculty, staff, and students. Apply by May 16 for the summer session starting June 1.

Buy, Build or Sell: Deciding the Next Steps for Your Business
