About Jason

Jason Allen is the Chris M. Bauer Chair in Finance and an associate professor in the department of Finance, Investment, and Banking at the Wisconsin School of Business.

Before joining the University of Wisconsin, Jason held senior positions at the Bank of Canada. His research examines pricing, competition, and the role of frictions in credit markets as well as financial markets. It also aims to address issues around bank fragility and resolution.
