Biography

Peter Ritz, a Milwaukee native, graduated from Harvard Law School with honors after receiving his BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Peter began his career as an Assistant Attorney General in the Wisconsin Department of Justice, and then spent almost 40 years in private practice in Portland, Oregon, and Madison, Wisconsin, focusing his work on business and real estate issues. He is a Senior Lecturer with more than 20 years of experience in the Department of Real Estate and Urban Land Economics and he has also taught real estate law-related courses in private business and non-profit organization settings. Peter is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the American Bar Association.
