Biography

Timothy (Tim) Pire currently is a member of the Board of Monogram Residential Trust, a publicly traded REIT focused on investing in multi-family properties and is Chairman of the Board of a non-profit, Goldie’s Place in Chicago. In addition, Tim is an adjunct professor at Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin Madison. Tim spent 24 years as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for Heitman’s public real estate securities group and was an equity owner of the firm. He has been analyzing public real estate securities at Heitman since 1992 and manages the firm’s investment process for all strategies. One of the industry’s most seasoned REIT analysts, Mr. Pire brought a unique perspective to the portfolio management team through his previous association with Lyon, Skelte & Speirs as an Associate Appraiser. As an appraiser, Mr. Pire was responsible for visiting, analyzing and valuing properties including retail, apartment, office and industrial properties, primarily in the Northwest.

Mr. Pire received an M.S. in Real Estate with an emphasis in Finance and a B.B.A. in business with an emphasis in Finance, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his CFA in 1995. Among other professional affiliations, he is also on the Real Estate Board of Advisors for the Applied Real Estate Investment Track (AREIT) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business and is a member of NAREIT.
