Terry Brimley graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. After graduation, he accepted a role with Harley-Davidson Motor Company as a HR Rotational Development Program Associate. In this role he completed strategic project work in 7 rotations (3 years) across the globe in various departments of HR (Compensation, Talent Management, Employee Labor/Relations, Learning Management, Corporate Business Services, International Business Services, and Manufacturing Business Services).
Upon completing the leadership development program, he accepted a role as a Compensation Analyst, where he was responsible for determining the estimated market value for all new positions and migrating compensation data from legacy systems to SAP. After a year in this role, he took ownership of his family’s tax business, where he was responsible for maintaining existing client relationships, as well as soliciting and forging new client relationships.
Since his time in college, Terry has tutored students in introductory business courses. Going a step further, he accepted a role as an Educational Assistant at Milwaukee Area Technical College. In this position he is responsible for providing supplemental instruction for several Business Management courses and developing strategies to improve the retention of at-risk students.
Outside of work, Terry enjoys mentoring and teaching students. He also likes to lift weights, play basketball, and box. He is excited to begin his MBA journey at the Wisconsin School of Business’s Corporate Finance and Investment Banking Program. He is looking forward to strengthening his business acumen so he can continue to help improve the lives of individuals and businesses.
