Sara Klunk graduated in 2014 from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Human Resources. After graduation, she accepted a role as a Strategy Analyst at WPS Health Solutions. In this role, she gained experience in strategy development, research and analysis, and project management. Sara was promoted to a Senior Strategy Analyst and went on to lead a team to produce market insights and execute strategic projects throughout the company.
During her time at WPS, Sara consulted on a wide range of projects including creating a new subsidiary, developing an enterprise mission statement, and scaling a compensation program company-wide. Throughout her experience, Sara gained skills in root-cause analysis and learned to take a data-driven approach to problem solving. This sparked her interest in learning more about what's at the heart of any strategy: the customer. Sara's experience in strategy combined with her inherent interest in human behavior led her back to UW to pursue her MBA with a marketing research specialization.
Outside of work, Sara is involved in the community as a Boys and Girls Club mentor and enjoys running, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to join the Wisconsin School of Business A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research to learn how to deliver consumer insights that make products and customer experiences better.
