MBA 2020 | Corporate Finance and Investment Banking


Andrew Lamers will earn his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a specialization in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. Andrew joins the Nicholas Center from Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he served several large publicly traded corporations in assurance and advisory roles. Andrew’s clients included Rockwell Automation, Alliant Energy, REV Group, and Douglas Dynamics.

Andrew held positions of increasing responsibility during his tenure at Deloitte, interfacing directly with senior partners to develop solutions to address key findings on his engagements, and effectively communicating results to client senior management. He gained valuable experience managing and mentoring staff members on his engagement teams. Additionally, he assisted with managing international teams from the Deloitte Netherlands, China, Singapore, and Mexico offices as part of large multinational engagements. Andrew is looking forward to leveraging his accounting and finance background, in combination with his analytical problem solving ability, to make a meaningful impact at his future organization.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he double-majored in Accounting and Finance, Investment, and Banking. He also studied at Cass Business School in London through an exchange program. He is an active CPA license holder, and a recipient of the prestigious Elijah Watt Sells Award for CPA exam performance.

In his free time, Andrew enjoys reading, traveling, and watching all things Wisconsin sports. In addition, in 2016 he joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee to serve as a mentor to a Milwaukee youth. He has greatly enjoyed watching his mentee learn and grow through activities such as playing sports, going to museums, discussing career aspirations, and much more.
