Sarah Link graduated from UW-Madison in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and History. After graduation, she accepted an associate role at Los Angeles media agency Canvas Worldwide on the digital investment team. Working primarily on a major automotive account, Sarah gained valuable budget management knowledge and media campaign execution experience. Within one year she was promoted to specialist and six months later helped her team transition to a newly integrated strategy and investment team, where she would eventually be promoted again to senior strategist. As a strategist/senior strategist, Sarah worked with a national client and 9+ regional clients to implement a new audience focused campaign strategy that contributed to exceeding the client’s sales goals after one quarter. During her time at Canvas, Sarah also led digital training initiatives for traditional media buying teams spread across five field offices as well as incoming associates. Her experience analyzing data and using results to inform media strategies for clients piqued her interest in marketing research, which led her back to UW-Madison to pursue her MBA.
Outside of work, Sarah has volunteered as an English literacy tutor at the Beverly Hills Literacy Center. With her free time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her dog, playing tennis and cooking. She is an avid Badgers and Packers fan and looks forward to cheering them on every fall. She is excited to join the Wisconsin School of Business A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research to expand her knowledge in the consumer insights field.
