MBA 2020 | Applied Security Analysis


Megan Martin is currently a second-year MBA student in the Applied Security Analysis Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2018 with a BBA in Finance. While attending UW-Whitewater, she was presented the opportunity to work with a small, student-run portfolio in an undergraduate applied investments program.

During the summer of 2019, Megan interned as an equity research analyst on the mid cap value team at Invesco in Houston, TX where she covered the U.S. airline and packaged food industries. During the summer of 2018, Megan interned at Phoenix Investment Adviser LLC in New York City, where she was exposed to both high yield credit and equity markets during her internship.

Megan participated in the 2019 CFA Research Challenge assisting the team to become a finalist in the Americas group. She is currently sitting for the CFA Level 1 and is looking forward to continuing to pursue her CFA designation in the coming years.

Megan will return to Invesco after graduation to work full-time as an Equity Research Analyst.
