MBA 2020 | Corporate Finance and Investment Banking

Mason Bourne graduated from Western Illinois University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Business in Economics and a Minor in Spanish. During his time in undergrad, Mason started a drone technology company that he continued to operate after graduation. The business specialized in agricultural work and contracted with numerous clients, namely global ag chemical leader, Syngenta. The cutting-edge services provided were constantly in demand, and led to growth and profitability over its two years of existence. During this time, Mason began investing on his own while learning from numerous books. Through this hobby, he found his true passion and became very interested in continuing his education by pursuing an MBA.

Outside of work, Mason enjoys cooking, playing guitar, numerous sports activities, and staying active. Currently, Mason is improving his German speaking ability and a student of piano. He is an avid traveler and seeks to better understand the global business atmosphere in order to become a better investor. Mason is excited to join the Wisconsin School of Business Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking in order to further his investment education.
