Peter Wilk graduated from the University of Chicago in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. After graduation, he began his professional career as an Inventory Analyst at Sears Holdings Corporation, where he gained exposure to the supply chain space. He planned replenishment for over 5 lines of business and achieved a 99% in-stock standard and 90% preclearance turnover, as well as exceeded sales and revenue projections in the online business on those lines. At Epic, he specialized in Revenue Cycle software applications, serving as a sole technical representative for 5 clients. He investigated software behavior concerns, consulted on optimal software configuration, and managed enhancement projects for his clients. Through his work with clients, he gained a thorough understanding of how his software product integrated into the everyday operations of a healthcare provider business office. Internally at Epic, Peter was the leader of medical record attachment functionality, guiding the pioneering feature’s growth per the evolving needs of the industry, heading a task force of over 10 colleagues, and seeing the feature grow in usage from 56 to 129 customers during his tenure.
During his free time, Peter loves following professional soccer, and volunteers as a youth soccer coach at Madison’s Millennium Soccer Club. He devotedly roots for all Chicago sports teams, except the White Sox. He enjoys long-distance running and spending time with his dog. Peter is excited to pursue his MBA at the Wisconsin School of Business Erdman Center for Operations and Technology Management to broaden his knowledge of the functions technology plays within organizations.
