MBA 2020 | Operations and Technology Management

Vipin Bodele graduated from University of Mumbai in 2009 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics. After graduation, he accepted a role with Oracle as a business trainee on the Oracle Banking Platform product development team.  After three years on the development team, he promoted to senior development engineer, responsible to work with clients in Australia as a technology expert. During the four years at Oracle, he also helped to deliver various banking modules, including complete launches of client internet and mobile banking.

Closely working with the clients motivated Vipin towards consulting, securing a position as a Principal Consultant at College of American Pathologist. His experience in software development helped him to design and lead the implementation and launch of CAP’s public website and transactional applications.  After the implementation at CAP, he moved on to Virginia to help Anthem implement its associate portal application, making associates more efficient by providing them easy access to the resources helpful to carry out their day today activities. He led the development team, following SAFe scaled agile methodologies, and oversaw the release of the application to 80,000 anthem associates.

Outside of work, Vipin enjoys playing outdoor sports, especially cricket and tennis. He enjoys cooking, hiking, travelling, cross country driving, and is a big Formula One fan, supporting team Ferrari. He is excited to begin his MBA journey at Wisconsin School of Business in the Erdman Center for Operations and Technology Management to enhance his decision-making skills to solve the increasing complex problems challenging modern business.
