Matthew Seitel is joining the Wisconsin School of Business and the Erdman Center for Operations and Technology Management as a member of the Class of 2020. Originally from Randolph, NJ, he attended the University of Delaware and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Business Administration, Math, and Integrated Design. During Undergrad, he worked for a manufacturing engineering company called Norwalt Design specializing in the design and assembly of high-speed assembly machines for various household, cosmetic, and medical products.
Upon graduating, Matthew continued to work for Norwalt Design acting as a liaison between departments to streamline interdepartmental communication. He also designed generic machines in 3D CAD to standardize processes to reduce design and assembly time and cost. Matthew has developed an interest in lean manufacturing and hopes to use his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison to increase the efficiency of design and plant operations for Norwalt Design.
In his spare time, Matthew enjoys any outdoor activity and has developed a passion for daily exercise. He also enjoys skiing and skim boarding with his two younger brothers.
