MBA 2020 | Applied Security Analysis


Kevin Gronseth is a 2020 MBA candidate in the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Applied Security Analysis Program. He graduated from the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management. Before coming to the ASAP Program, Kevin worked for 3 years in Corporate Finance at IBM and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

During the summer of 2019, Kevin interned on the Public Equities team at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board in Madison, covering the Consumer Discretionary sector. Kevin researched, modeled and pitched two different sub-industry groups to his portfolio manager (Macau Casinos & Gaming and Automotive Retailers).

Kevin is a Level II candidate in the CFA Program and will sit for the exam in June.

Kevin is a newlywed and enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenny, traveling, basketball, card games, and following his favorite Minnesota sports teams, especially the Vikings.
