He also conducted several market research projects as a freelancer for some of the biggest conglomerates in Bangladesh. After graduation, he joined ACI Consumer Brands as a Product Executive and managed the overall business of a cleaning solution brand. In this role, Ryan coordinated between various business functions and led numerous multi-department projects to improve product formulation, increase production capacity, and introduce new channels to boost demand. He also received the Best Budget Presentation Award from the organization for developing a 5-year-long strategic roadmap for the brand.

In 2017, Ryan accepted the role of Brand Executive at Philip Morris International where his responsibilities included marketing execution, research, and strategy development. Collaborating with a multinational group of stakeholders, he adapted the latest global communication umbrella for the local market and launched it with a 360-degree campaign. Ryan developed several original interactive brand activation initiatives for this campaign, which started an industry-wide trend of similar initiatives. He was also involved in many cross-functional projects for organizational process development, resource optimization, and employee engagement. Nine months after joining the organization, Ryan received the Above and Beyond the Call of Duty Award for demonstrating his creativity, drive and entrepreneurial spirit through exemplary contribution. Finally, he moved to the United States in 2018 to take his career to a global level.

Ryan also applied his marketing skills to give back to society and co-founded Jhilimilli, an organization that engages university students to educate the street children of Dhaka. In his leisure, he enjoys writing short poems, composing original scores on the piano, and taking abstract photos. Ryan is excited to take the next step in his career by joining the Center for Brand and Product Management at Wisconsin School of Business. He looks forward to this opportunity to explore new cultures, learn about the latest and best business practices, and become a Brand Manager suited for the most competitive economy of the world.
