Misha Raina graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation and Control. After graduation she took up a role with Tata Consultancy Services as an SAP ABAP developer. In this role, she transformed business requirements of a client to functional and technical document and optimized the complex code in the serialization module resulting an in increase in performance by about 30 percent. Desirous of enhancing her exposure beyond an SAP-partnered company and knowing more about ERP solutions, landscapes and SAP implementations, she joined SAP Labs, India, in Mar’16. In the techno-functional customer-facing consultant role, she implemented SAP supply chain management solutions for SAP clients across diverse industries, conducted root cause analysis in deep technology for performance issues in Supply Chain Module of SAP and introduced best practices for operations at complex logistics problems by educating customers on inventory management and Logistics Execution processes that helped in avoiding stock inconsistencies. She has also created knowledge-based articles dealing with specific issues in Logistics Execution and Warehouse management. Going beyond the call of duty on weekends, Misha collaborated with Major Incident Manager (MIM) and Manager on Duty (MoD) for creation of an overall action plan of critical production down situations. She was involved in over twenty go live and production down scenarios for twenty different clients.
Outside of her core work responsibilities, Misha was involved in multiple extracurricular initiatives.
She has mentored employees and trained them on cross-functional topics and customer Interaction skills. She was also selected to be a part of a research team of five people headed by the Vice-President where she identified advantages and disadvantages of getting various subsidiaries of SAP Support under one umbrella. Apart from this, she was one of 12 people selected for the Social Sabbatical Program of SAP, a CSR initiative. Here one of her responsibilities was to create a social media strategy for a Bangalore based NGO “Gubbachi Learning Community” aimed at improving 4 core areas: Fundraising, Recognition, volunteers and advocacy.
In her spare time, Misha enjoys reading and practices yoga and meditation. She is thrilled to pursue her MBA at the Wisconsin School of Business center for Operations and Technology Management to strengthen her business and leadership skills.
