Nattanit Kosakarn graduated from Thammasat University (Bangkok, Thailand) in 2016 with Bachelor of Accounting. After graduation, she joined ExxonMobil as a Wholesale Fuel Business Analyst. As a Wholesale Fuel Analyst at ExxonMobil, she worked with the company’s large database, analyzing key factors that drive changes to profitability, focusing on the Singapore and New Zealand regions. She sharpened her financial statement analysis abilities via the monthly process of deriving insights by inspecting and evaluating the financial performance of wholesale fuel businesses. She also regularly communicated with sale representatives across countries to consult about situational factors and critical events, later compiling the data for reports to country managers under tight deadlines.
Nattanit has always been interested in humanitarian and development projects. She has a big dream of working for greater causes and creating a positive impact for the community. She decided to join the United Nations Office for Project Services as a Finance Assistant. At the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), she maintained financial transactions in UNOPS’s ERP system in line with UNOPS rules and regulations, requiring clear understanding of organizational and project financial control. Liaising with colleagues from various field offices across Central Asia, Africa, Europe and their headquarters in Denmark, she also learned to negotiate with people across cultures and tailor solutions to unique needs. She was also a part of a team that launched UN Webbuy Plus, an e-commerce platform that has provided $1B of procurement services for clients in 128 countries.
Fun fact: Nattanit actively shoots film photography, an interest that she develops from her father, and hopes to hold an exhibition one day. She also is an avid live concert goer as she believes nothing is better than seeing your favorite band perform live. Additionally she enjoys traveling and exploring cultures. She is excited for her MBA journey to begin at the Wisconsin School of Business with specialization in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking to gain in-depth financial skills and also critical leadership skills.
