Sam Johnson is a proud Missourian. He grew up in Columbia Missouri and ultimately went college at the University of Missouri, where he received his B.S. in biochemistry with a minor in History. He moved to Madison shortly after graduating in 2017 and has been making Madison his home ever since. While in Madison he worked for a recycling company, Alter, as a commodity trader, buying and selling scrap metal, mostly aluminum, copper, and steel. He hopes to integrate his passion for sustainability and science with corporate finance in order to increase funding for ground breaking science related to environmentalism and the circular economy.
