MBA 2022 | Corporate Finance and Investment Banking


Kevin May graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics. In May of 2015, he joined Partnership Bank of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, beginning his career in banking while completing his degree. After graduation, he continued with Partnership Bank full-time. As Universal Banker, he was selected to create and lead a multi-channel initiative to promote the bank’s digital product suite, accomplishing a 22% increase in client eStatement enrollment and $40,000 in annual cost savings on the converted statements. After this successful stint in retail, he was promoted to several positions in operations, spending time in the commercial credit and finance/accounting departments. As Assistant Controller, Kevin led several important projects for the bank including an operational efficiency initiative in 2018, influencing the achievement of $425,000 in firm-wide cost savings. Furthermore, Kevin led the finance/accounting department through a successful merger and system conversion with Bank First of Manitowoc, Wisconsin in 2019. The opportunity to contribute to key operations of a community bank cemented his passion for corporate finance and the banking industry. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends. To stay active, he enjoys cycling and playing sports such as soccer and basketball. He is an ardent sports fan, and enjoys watching soccer, basketball, and football. Kevin is excited to pursue his MBA at the Wisconsin School of Business Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking to further develop his analytical, leadership, and financial skills.
