Anne Jamison is finishing a joint Ph.D. in the Department of Political Science and the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research interests lie at the intersection of international political economy and management, with a special focus on the politics of foreign direct investment and political risk management. Anne’s dissertation examines the consequences of political violence for firms investing in the developing world. She earned her MA in political science at UW–Madison and her BSFS from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She also has two years of experience working in international development. After graduation she will be a Fellow at both the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance at Princeton University and at the Africa Centre for Dispute Settlement at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
