Future is Now

The Future is Now program is an annual event that helps students explore career paths within accounting. During the day-and-a-half event, students interact with industry leaders as well as learn about the rewards and challenges of a career in accounting.

The Department of Accounting and Information Systems has hosted the event every year since 1996. Students attend seminars and discussions on ethics, leadership, and career planning.

Students also have an opportunity to learn about the Integrated Master of Accountancy (IMAcc) and Graduate Master of Accountancy (GMAcc) programs at the school. The department encourages prospective students to attend the Future is Now to learn more about the program options.

By the end of the program, participants walk away with a superior understanding of accounting career options and the next step in their professional career paths.

The Future is Now. Mark your calendars for this year’s program: September 13 - 14, 2019.
