Armed with a leadership background and 21 years of service in the United States Naval Corps, Brian Kline entered the Wisconsin Executive MBA program looking to build new skills to propel his career as a manufacturing executive.
Balancing a full‑time job, managing family commitments, and pursuing my Wisconsin Executive MBA paid off. I had post‑military business experience, but felt that the Wisconsin Executive MBA was an important part of getting to that next level of leadership. Earning my MBA turned out to be a great career move. Since graduating, I’ve accepted a new position where I oversee all manufacturing operations.
I leverage learnings I gained in the Program every week. The Wisconsin Executive MBA has improved my critical thinking skills and made me be a better team member and leader.
The Wisconsin Executive MBA has pushed me to continually grow as a leader. The career services team is truly an asset of the program. I used them as a resource both during the program and after graduation. With their help, I now have a better understanding of my strengths and areas for growth.
I learned a tremendous amount from the other executives in the program. Because of the cohort format, I really got to know my classmates. The Wisconsin Executive MBA program office was very deliberate in the teams they put together, which allowed us to easily gain insights from fellow students and build meaningful connections. The program is very team oriented with a good balance of competitiveness and cooperation and I greatly value the friendships and network I built along the way.
