I am a double major in Marketing and Operations Technology Management, and I am pursuing certificates in Supply Chain Management and Environmental Studies. I am actively involved in campus in organizations such as Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, as well as the Phi Beta Phi social sorority. I love Madison’s many attractions, including game days, the farmers market, running along the lake shore and the various fun places to eat. I am from Glenview, IL, so I am a big Chicago sports fan, Go White Sox! Additionally, I love to travel, adventure race and do yoga. I am so excited for another year as a BBA Ambassador, and the opportunity to share my appreciation and passion for the WSB.

Major: Marketing, Certificate in Digital Studies

Ellie is a senior from Manitowoc, Wis., who is majoring in marketing, with a certificate in digital studies. On campus, she is the President of the Wisconsin Undergraduate Business Council, where she dedicates her time to providing fun and interactive programming for the undergraduate business community. This past summer she interned at Hoffman York, an advertising agency in Milwaukee, WI, but is excited to be back in Madison for her last year! Other than being a Business Badger, Ellie loves to spend time with her friends, attend concerts and Badger sporting events, and explore all the cool restaurants Madison has to offer.

Anders Larsen
Anders Larsen

When Anders was a kid, he would make his parents drive past the Wisconsin School of Business whenever they visited Madison so he could look out the window from the back seat and say, “That’s where I want to go to school someday.” A Direct Admit to the Wisconsin School of Business, Anders is majoring in marketing. He is a Vice President of the Mu Kappa Tau Honorary Marketing Society, and he is the co-founder and former president of the Wisconsin Undergraduate Business Council. He also is the Student Representative on the Wisconsin School of Business Dean Search and Screen Committee. Anders has spent his summers during college interning with Kohler on their cross-channel marketing strategy team, in addition to doing two internships at Intuit QuickBooks on their product marketing team and global brand team. His favorite part of attending Wisconsin is the unique intersection of stellar academics, incredible student life, and a beautiful city to call home. You will likely find Anders somewhere in the Wisconsin School of Business either saying “It’s a great day to be a Business Badger” or “Live, Love, Grainger!”

Rachel Ley

Rachel is a senior from Stevens Point, Wisconsin majoring in Finance and Operations & Technology Management with a Supply Chain Management specialization. She has taken advantage of numerous campus activities, including the Investment Banking Club, and has held leadership positions with the All Ways Forward Campaign, Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, and the Wisconsin Consulting Club. Rachel has gained valuable internship experience as a finance intern with both Procter & Gamble and CUNA Mutual Group, a business analyst intern at Trek Bicycle Corporation, and most recently as an investment banking summer analyst at Goldman Sachs. Outside of class and work, she loves attending Badger sporting events, staying active at the Shell, and exploring Madison.

I am entering into my senior year at UW-Madison and could not be more grateful for the experiences UW and the business school have provided for me. My time in the WSB has allowed me to explore different interests, meet amazing friends and prepared me for the business world today. During the school year, I participate with SHRM (Society of Human Resources and Management), Badger Volunteers and Blade on Wisconsin (Rollerblading Club). I have also worked with a variety of companies including Her Own Words, Robert W. Baird and Kimberly-Clark, which have been exceptional learning opportunities.

Payton is a sophomore majoring in Marketing and MHR - Entrepreneurship. Originally from Lakeville Minnesota, she has found a second home on campus through her business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi and the wonderful people she met during her first year at school. She runs a small cupcake business to fund her love for travel and pay for tuition. Her special skills include finding open picnic tables at the terrace and getting free classes at the many workout places in Madison. Payton also loves singing and all intramural sports, specifically volleyball.

Diana is a junior from Woodbury, Minnesota studying marketing, OTM, and Chinese. On campus, she is very involved with Alpha Kappa Psi, Dance Elite, and the All Ways Forward Campaign. During the past two summers, she had the opportunity to intern at MSP-C in Minneapolis as a research intern and Blue449 in San Francisco as a strategy intern. Outside of all things business, she loves to run, cook, read, travel, and spend time with her friends and family. She is thrilled to be back on campus for Madison’s beautiful fall weather, Badger game days, and to share her passion for the Wisconsin School of Business!

Elaine is a junior from Madison studying communication arts and finance with a certificate in leadership. On campus, she is a dedicated member of the Communication Arts Student Association and Student Leadership Program. She is looking forward to being the 2018-2019 chair for Bucky’s Awards; an allcampus award ceremony that honors students for their involvement and work in student organizations. In her free time, Elaine enjoys visiting the farmers market, hanging out at the Memorial Union Terrace with friends, and making ceramic wares at Wheelhouse Studios. Elaine loves being a Business Badger and is thrilled to help prospective students explore what the Wisconsin School of Business has to offer.

Ally is a junior from Merrill, Wis., who is majoring in accounting. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi, the professional business fraternity, as well as UW’s largest dance organization, Optima Dance. Ally is looking forward to studying abroad in London, England next spring through the Wisconsin School of Business. Other than being a Business Badger, Ally enjoys reading, yoga, baking cookies, and spending time on the lakes of Wisconsin’s beautiful North woods. After graduation, Ally hopes to participate in the Integrated Master of Accountancy Program and obtain her CPA.

Emil is a junior studying marketing with a certificate in computer science. Having supported the BBA program previously as a Course Facilitator and Business Emerging Leaders Program Mentor, Emil is excited to bring his previous experience to the table to help guide future Business Badgers. This past summer, Emil had the opportunity to intern at Thrivent Financial and was thrilled to see how well his BBA courses set him up for success. On campus, Emil is most actively involved with the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, Advertising Club, and his social fraternity the Chi Psi Lodge. Last year Emil had the opportunity to travel on leadership delegations through Hillel to Washington D.C. and the Middle East, which is indicative of his passions to travel and chase adventure while finding new ways to learn outside of the classroom.
