Emily is a senior from Apple Valley, Minnesota, studying Marketing and Management & Human Resources (Human Resources emphasis). She has been actively involved in campus organizations such as Mu Kappa Tau, where she served on the Networking and Events Committee for three semesters. In addition, she was the Director of Recruitment for the Delta Gamma fraternity in 2018, which was one of her favorite experiences of college thus far. This past summer, she was a Marketing Intern with Ameriprise Financial in Minneapolis, MN, and is excited to return with them full-time in their Marketing Leadership Development Program after graduation in the spring. Additionally, Emily enjoys fitness, music, and finding great new food spots. She is looking forward to a fantastic last semester at UW-Madison, and is excited to help prospective students find their way in the Wisconsin School of Business.

Ellie is a senior from Manitowoc, Wis., who is majoring in marketing, with a certificate in digital studies. On campus, she is the President of the Wisconsin Undergraduate Business Council, where she dedicates her time to providing fun and interactive programming for the undergraduate business community. This past summer she interned at Hoffman York, an advertising agency in Milwaukee, WI, but is excited to be back in Madison for her last year! Other than being a Business Badger, Ellie loves to spend time with her friends, attend concerts and Badger sporting events, and explore all the cool restaurants Madison has to offer.

Anders Larsen
Anders Larsen

Major: Marketing

When Anders was a kid, he would make his parents drive past the Wisconsin School of Business whenever they visited Madison so he could look out the window from the back seat and say, “That’s where I want to go to school someday.” A Direct Admit to the Wisconsin School of Business, Anders is majoring in marketing. He is a Vice President of the Mu Kappa Tau Honorary Marketing Society, and he is the co-founder and former president of the Wisconsin Undergraduate Business Council. He also is the Student Representative on the Wisconsin School of Business Dean Search and Screen Committee. Anders has spent his summers during college interning with Kohler on their cross-channel marketing strategy team, in addition to doing two internships at Intuit QuickBooks on their product marketing team and global brand team. His favorite part of attending Wisconsin is the unique intersection of stellar academics, incredible student life, and a beautiful city to call home. You will likely find Anders somewhere in the Wisconsin School of Business either saying “It’s a great day to be a Business Badger” or “Live, Love, Grainger!”

Rachel Ley

Major: Finance

Rachel is a senior from Stevens Point, Wisconsin majoring in Finance and Operations & Technology Management with a Supply Chain Management specialization. She has taken advantage of numerous campus activities, including the Investment Banking Club, and has held leadership positions with the All Ways Forward Campaign, Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, and the Wisconsin Consulting Club. Rachel has gained valuable internship experience as a finance intern with both Procter & Gamble and CUNA Mutual Group, a business analyst intern at Trek Bicycle Corporation, and most recently as an investment banking summer analyst at Goldman Sachs. Outside of class and work, she loves attending Badger sporting events, staying active at the Shell, and exploring Madison.

Jane is currently a senior year at UW-Madison and could not be more grateful for the experiences that UW and the business school have provided for her. She is majoring in Marketing, Human Resources, and Management. During the school year, Jane is a member of the Society of Human Resources and Management (SHRM), Badger Volunteers and Blade on Wisconsin (Rollerblading Club). She speaks highly of the experiences and curriculum the Wisconsin School of Business offers students. Jane has worked with a variety of companies throughout the country including Her Own Words LLC., Robert W. Baird and Kimberly-Clark.

Payton is a sophomore majoring in Marketing and MHR - Entrepreneurship. Originally from Lakeville Minnesota, she has found a second home on campus through her business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi and the wonderful people she met during her first year at school. She runs a small cupcake business to fund her love for travel and pay for tuition. Her special skills include finding open picnic tables at the terrace and getting free classes at the many workout places in Madison. Payton also loves singing and all intramural sports, specifically volleyball.

Mikol is a freshman from Chicago, IL. She is majoring in Finance and Marketing while also earning a certificate in supply chain. Mikol is a Business Emerging Leaders Scholar and has found her second home within the Wisconsin School of Business. On campus, Mikol is involved in the multicultural business student association and her social sorority Gamma Phi Beta. In her free time, Mikol loves to do sculpt yoga, lift weights, and cook. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in consulting and travel across Europe.

Elaine is a junior from Madison studying communication arts and finance with a certificate in leadership. On campus, she is a dedicated member of the Communication Arts Student Association and Student Leadership Program. She is looking forward to being the 2018-2019 chair for Bucky’s Awards; an allcampus award ceremony that honors students for their involvement and work in student organizations. In her free time, Elaine enjoys visiting the farmers market, hanging out at the Memorial Union Terrace with friends, and making ceramic wares at Wheelhouse Studios. Elaine loves being a Business Badger and is thrilled to help prospective students explore what the Wisconsin School of Business has to offer.

Matt is a sophomore from Tenafly, New Jersey double majoring in Real Estate and Finance. On campus, Matt is a member of a number of student organizations including the co-ed business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, and the Wisconsin Real Estate Club. This past summer, Matt was a Development and Operations Intern at The Alexander Company, and has gained other work experience as a Commercial Real Estate Research Intern for Keller Williams in New York City and as a Property Management Intern for Palisade Properties in Madison. Matt enjoys attending Badger sporting events and discovering new places around Madison.
