In your first semester in the Wisconsin BBA student, you will take the Personal and Professional Foundations in Business course. This course introduces you to tools, resources, and skills that will help you navigate the rest of your BBA experience.
In each year of the Wisconsin BBA Program, the requirements of The Compass Program are met by engaging in activities in these areas:
- Career development
- Academic planning
- Leadership and engaged citizenship
Activities that may be incorporated include job shadowing with industry professionals, mock interviews, cultural competency discussions, case competitions, and opportunities to practice leadership outside the classroom. The program has some flexibility, in that you can choose from a menu of options to meet certain requirements.
The benefits of study abroad align with the goals of The Compass Program, and students who choose to travel abroad will be able to meet certain program requirements by reflecting on their international experience.
